Manchester City FC Find Ideal Replacement – Club Open To Offers

Manchester City Colwill

Manchester City FC made an effort to find a replacement after selling Oleksandr Zinchenko last summer.

The stakes are higher than ever as the Premier League enters the business end of the season, and one prediction has thrown up some surprises along the way.

In the same transfer window, City signed Sergio Gómez from Anderlecht after failing to sign Marc Cucurella.

As Jao Cancelo has undoubtedly been preferred over his compatriot for the left-back position by Pep Guardiola, Gómez is yet to make his debut in the league. Due to this, Manchester City FC may decide to buy a fresh player to fill the same role.

Arsenal ahead than Manchester City FC to win the PL title

Arsenal continued their tremendous 2022/23 season on Saturday with an emphatic 4-1 win over Leeds United. Mikel Arteta’s side are now only nine games away from winning their first Premier League title in 19 years.

Gabriel Jesus marked his return to the team with his first Premier League goals since October. The striker’s brace coupled with strikes from Ben White and Granit Xhaka meant the Gunners ticked off another game in their run-in.

The champions of the Premier League are “attentive” to Ferland Mendy’s circumstances at Real Madrid. He has made 17 starts this year and is Carlo Ancelotti’s first-choice left-back.

The France international is waiting for Los Blancos to begin contract negotiations because his current deal expires in 2025. The La Liga champions are “ready to listening to offers” for the former Lyon player, but they do not prioritize his renewal.

Mendy was purchased by Real Madrid for €50 million in 2019, and a similar sum would be required to approve his sale. Alphonso Davies, a star for Bayern Munich, is their proposed replacement for him.

Both Manchester City FC and PSG believe Mendy would be the “perfect piece to consolidate that position.
