According to Claret and Hugh, Paqueta’s close ones at West Ham have been in touch with them to let them know how ‘unhappy’ the player is with the team and with the tactics of David Moyes, their manager.
Given that West Ham and Manchester City are keeping their channels for interaction open, the coming days will be critical in this deal. The big question is still whether the player is indeed worth that much or more. However Guardiola appears determined to improve his midfield nonetheless.
