Liverpool in a hurry to improve 2 positions as transfer window is ending

Liverpool

Reports indicate that Liverpool is in the process of readying a bid amounting €45 million to Bayer Leverkusen. Since, they endeavor to secure the signing of Piero Hincapie.

Liverpool has invested approximately £100 million in acquiring Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo. These acquisitions were with the intention of filling the void left after departing players such as James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho.

Reportedly, Liverpool is still actively seeking an additional midfielder for their roster. Notably, they are considering Crystal Palace’s Cheick Doucoure and Fluminense’s Andre as potential targets for this position.

In addition, the Premier League giants have set their sights on securing a new center-back. It is purportedly their foremost objective to bring in a defender capable of vying for a spot alongside Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.

Liverpool on their way to make a signing

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, there’s a report that indicates Liverpool is preparing to once again make a substantial financial commitment. With their attention now directed towards Hincapie.

A proposal of €45 million is reportedly in the works as Liverpool aims to finalize the signing of Hincapie. Bayer Leverkusen has not issued an official response yet. But they are not facing any immediate pressure to part ways with the 21-year-old player. Hincapie remains under contract until 2027.

Despite the reported interest from Liverpool, a transfer for Hincapie appears improbable due to Jurgen Klopp’s existing depth in attacking positions. However, according to Fichajes, the club will engage in negotiations with Juventus in the upcoming days.
