Liverpool might sign Khephren Thuram this summer

In the midfield position, Khéphren Thuram seems to be one of the major prospects for Liverpool. The Nice midfielder possesses all of the qualities required to enhance Jürgen Klopp’s team. He will bring a much-needed burst of enthusiasm and quality in the midfield. According to CBS writer Ben Jacobs, the Merseyside giants may be given the chance to sign the OGC Nice midfielder, despite the French club’s desire to keep him.

On The Football Terrace YouTube channel, Jacobs stated,

“I still think Khephren Thuram is the one to watch now in terms of Liverpool.”

According to Nice Matin, Nice might sign Thuram for as cheap as $44 million, representing yet another bargain transfer move. That, though, will most likely have to wait until Thuram’s participation at the U21 European Championships ends. Some argue that signing two midfielders is sufficient. If Mac Allister is joined by Thuram as a new signing, the total number of midfielders at Anfield will be eight, with another six currently on the roster.

Klopp might get a quality midfielder in form of Thuram

Klopp might get that unparalleled work ethic and range of skills by signing Thuram, who is famous for his versatility and has no issue gliding from a deeper role in midfield to break the lines of attack. Last season, in 35 Ligue One appearances, the Frenchman was a formidable attacking threat with two goals, four assists, and nine major chances created. He also averages 1.1 shots on goal, 1.1 vital passes, and 1.3 successful dribbles per game. Not only that, but Thuram has maintained his defensive consistency, with the Nice star averaging 1.1 interceptions, 3.8 duels won, and 1.5 tackles per game, according to SofaScore.

Having said that, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool will add further depth to the midfield this summer. However Thuram is the one to keep an eye on. The Frenchman could be an enormous asset in midfield if a transfer is completed ahead of next season.
