Gary Lineker has selected the Northern Irish man as next sensation in the Premier League.

Speaking on Wednesday’s podcast of The Rest Is Football, Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards had their picks about the next big British manager.

When asked who he saw as a young up and up- coming British manager who could make the headlines in the Premier League side, Lineker picked a former United man Kieran McKenna.

“I’m going to go with Kieran McKenna from Ipswich Town. I think he’s done a brilliant job with them and he’s young.” Before he added, “They’re flying at the top of the league.”

Where Alen Shearer added that he is “doing a really good job.”

McKenna’s Ipswich Town are too good

Kieran McKenna joined Ipswich Town in 2021 when club was the regular struggler in the English Third Division. But the last season McKenna put some extraordinary as the club promoted from the League One.

Currently they stand 3rd in the Championship with 18 points. And if things are going around like this, then they will pass the second division.

Many see Kieran McKenna remains as Ipswich Town coach as he has build project around the club.
