Frank Lampard praises Cristiano Ronaldo

Speaking after the match Lampard said to BBC,

“he keeps scoring goals as he’s done and to rack the numbers that he’s racked up, that’s just become normal- abnormal numbers have become normal year after year.”

” I don’t know him particularly well, but you can do nothing but admire those numbers – they’re amazing.”

“When he was on 699, I wanted him to score in the Europa League the other night. ”

Ten Hag who has not given Ronaldo much of a chance in the Premier League added,

“That is really impressive when you score 700 goals, its a huge performance. I’m really happy for him and congratulate him on that performance.

I’m also happy it’s his first goal this season in the Premier League. He had to wait for it and I’m sure there will be more goals.”

With Martial being sidelined again due to injury Ronaldo will look to score goals in the upcoming matches for Manchester United. Manchester United will face Omonia in their next Europa League game. And will be back in action against Newcastle United in the Premier League.
