As per the rumors, the Nigerian striker is not at very good terms with the Italian club at the moment. So there can be a situation wherein he leaves the club in the upcoming summer transfer window. Chelsea would have to monitor his situation till then. In the meanwhile, they can accumulate the required capital to sign the striker next season as Osimhen is going to be an expensive signing.

According to footballfancast, Mauricio Pochettino has made transfer demands to Chelsea’s board of directors ahead of the January transfer window. His prime motive is to focus on team’s defence and attack. He’s trying to transform the team for the 2nd half of the season. Moreover, he’s also encouraging the existing players in the squad for their performances so that they can get some confidence. Pochettino believes in his players and he has faith in them.

Fabrizio Romano believes that Osimhen’s arrival could be a possibility in the summer of 2024.

Fabrizio Romano spoke about Victor Osimhen’s current scenario with Napoli and his new contract. He has put forward some facts regarding the current scenario.

“As I said before, Napoli were never willing to sell Osimhen in January. No club would want to let go of a striker like him in the middle of the season. And now we can see that’s become clear after Osimhen has reportedly signed a contract extension with Napoli. However, his move away from the club is still possible in the summer of 2024. Although there would be a release clause in his contract which can be more than €130 million.” – Fabrizio Romano said.
