Everton Predicted XI and Team news vs Crystal Palace

About Football Express UK

Everton meets Crystal Palace at Goodison Park this weekend. Everton manager and ex-Chelsea legend Frank Lampard will hope that his team is able to perform at home, after three straight defeats in the Premier League. The Toffees are currently a single point from relegation and are desperate for a win. Three points may take them as high as 12th, but a loss will lead them to the bottom three.

In terms of injuries, Yerry Mina, Nathan Patterson, Andros Townsend, and Ben Godfrey are all expected to be unavailable against Palace. However, Lampard is optimistic that Patterson could be back by next week from his ankle injury. He also estimated Ben Godfrey’s recovery date, stating:

“I think it might be tough for Ben to be back before the World Cup, because of the injury and because of how quickly that time is coming – November 12 we break up. We’ll look at the best plan around that.”

Predicted Everton XI vs Crystal Palace

An estimated XI for the Toffees before their match against Crystal Palace is:

Pickford, Vinagre, Tarkowski, Coady, Coleman, Iwobi, Garner, Onana, McNeil, Calvert-Lewin, Gray.

Lampard is likely to stick with a 4-3-3 formation. There are three changes from the team which lost to Newcastle United earlier this week. Dwight McNeil,  Ruben Vinagre, and Idrissa Gueye are all likely to make appearances against Patrick Viera’s Crystal Palace.
