Everton must sell this striker in January

About Football Express UK

Nathan Broadhead is a curious case for the Everton team. Coming into the team as a young prospect to still being on loan.

Broadhead is currently on loan to the championship team Wigan Atletic. Nathan has enjoyed his loan spells at Sunderland and Burton Albion.

However, he is still yet to score a goal for the toffees. Everton offered him a new contract extended till 2023 despite the lack of first-team chances.

It’s clear that he is not part of Lampard’s plan and loaning him out is surely not favorable to anyone.

Nathan is not having a good season in the championship and it’s best for Everton to not wait till summer and sell him in January.

As Broadhead’s contract is expiring in the summer, a Championship side may give a small fee for the striker who has scored 18 goals in 62 games throughout the league (transfermarket)

Resolving this situation will benefit everyone as Nathan will finally be able to find a permanent place to start his career and this will offload the wage bill of Everton.
