Merseyside club Everton wants to bring in Mohammed Kudus of the Dutch club Ajax. The English club from Liverpool, formed in 1878, is the second-longest continuous serving English club. With 9 league titles, 5 FA Cups, 1 European Cup Winners’ Cup as well as 9 Charity Shields, they are one of the big names in the English Premier League. But, Toffees won their last English title in the last century. Surprisingly, Everton finished 16th in the points table last season, just 4 points from the relegation zone. Not the result Everton fans would have wanted from their club. Furthermore, with the arrival of former Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard, fate can be changed for the Merseyside club. As Everton’s manager is looking to bring in the Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus.
The Dutch club from Amsterdam, which plays in the Eredivisie, has been a dominating force in the Dutch league. The Defending champions Ajax have won 36 Eredivisie titles and 20 KNVB Cups, since their foundation in 1900. Ajax are also one of the four teams to win the continental treble as well as the Club World Cup in the same season. The Dutch club had given many talents to the Football world. Namely De Jong, de Legit, Ziyech, Blind, etc. And now Ajax’s talented midfielder has caught the eyes of Everton manager Frank Lampard.

Mohammed Kudus is a 22-years-old Ghanaian international, who plays as an attacking midfielder for Eredivisie club Ajax. He began his senior career in Nordsjælland in 2018. Then in July 2000, Dutch giants saw his talent and bought him for €9 million. He was the two-time Eredivisie champion for the Ajax side.
