Manchester City’s Erling Haaland continued his superb run of form, scoring another hat-trick against Nottingham Forest. The Norwegian sensation shattered two League records in the opening 45 minutes, by smashing the most top-flight goals in August.
After securing the 22-year-old’s signature for £51million, Manchester City saw the young striker mark his debut with two goals in their triumph over West Ham in their opening match. With his second consecutive treble last night, Haaland has already taken his tally to nine from five appearances.
There is a comfortable 4-goal difference between his tally and that of the next top scorer; Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic with 5 goals. He has already been tipped to smash records and win the Golden Boot.

Haaland has constantly been one of Europe’s best young talents over the past few years. His finishing, positioning, and eye for a goal has constantly been some of the best statistics in the world. This has been obvious by the extraordinary numbers he has produced. With a Minutes per goal of 82 last season and 51 so far, he seems destined for Premier League greatness.
The entire Manchester City team seems ferocious. As Haaland receives a constant supply of chances from the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, and other superb players, we can expect a constant stream of solid goals from him. However, the only question is his ability to stay fit, which was a source of problems in the past.
