Erik Ten Hag shows Cristiano Ronaldo who’s the ‘boss’ at Manchester United

About Football Express UK

Erik ten Hag is furious with Cristiano Ronaldo after his rude behavior towards the team. Manchester United has made it clear that no ‘player’ is bigger than the club.

Erik ten Hag will protect Manchester United at any cost

Cristiano Ronaldo refused to come on for United in their match against Tottenham and walked off the pitch before full-time.

In addition, Erik ten Hag has made the decision that Ronaldo won’t be a part of the squad for their match against Chelsea. Ronaldo should be careful as Ten Hag made a player sign a termination contract just because he was late for training.

Kevin Conboy who was a player once for Ten Hag mentioned how discipline is important for Ten Hag.

Earlier when Speaking to Daily Sport Conboy said,

“He would do anything to protect the team.At the time [at Utrecht], maybe we had 25 players and the staff. And he said, ‘let’s say we have a balloon, everyone on the outside is trying to poke it and say ‘this is not good enough’ or find holes.”

I’m not going to mention the name, but we had a player who lived 30 or 40 minutes away from the training ground, He was late one day, and Erik said, ‘this is never going to happen again.”

“Then he came in late one morning one more time, maybe five minutes. Maybe in Dutch terms, compared to the Premier League, this is nothing. But he received a €1,000 fine, or thereabouts.”

“The third time, he had to go to the director’s office and sign a contract that said if he was ever late again, ‘you can just terminate my contract.’ He gives a lot, but he demands a lot. You don’t step outside.”

If things continue to be like this, Ronaldo might have played his last game for the Red Devils.
