Following encouraging developments, Sheth believes United may now move their transfer ambitions forward to the following window. PSV is rumored to have established an asking price of £50 million.
He spoke,
“They have got options up front in Anthony Martial and we know that Marcus Rashford can play down the middle as well.“
“I just wonder whether Erik ten Hag will see this window as an opportunity. If he can get a deal for someone like Gakpo done, he might just go for it because United are in that position where they are showing encouraging signs under Erik ten Hag.”
Should Manchester United sign Gapko?
Manchester United must sign Gapko, as they need an attacker as soon as possible. With Cristiano Ronaldo’s termination of the contract on mutual agreeance, United have been missing a striker badly.
Presently, Marcus Rashford has been playing in the number 9 position. He has scored the most goals for United. Martial has a goal ratio but he has been injured for the majority of the season. It’s been a difficult season for United’s attackers. They’ll be hoping to sign an attacker very soon.
Gapko has made PSV proud as he has scored 24 goals in 30 appearances for PSV this season. 50M is worth spending to get a player like Gapko.
