Cristiano Ronaldo ‘punished’-Will not play in the Chelsea game

Manchester United has dropped Cristiano Ronaldo for their away game against Chelsea.

The latest news that is making noise is Ronaldo has faced punishment from Erik Ten Hag. Despite their win against Tottenham, all the attention is on Cristiano Ronaldo who did not even feature in the match.

Ronaldo refused to come on for United and after refusing left the pitch before the full-time whistle. As punishment Ronaldo will train alone with the U21 squad and will be not traveling to Stamford Bridge with the squad.

The Club made a statement saying,

“Cristiano will not be part of the Manchester United squad for this Saturday’s game against Chelsea. The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for that fixture.”

Ronaldo is also fined with two weeks wages which are said to be £720,000. Some reports have claimed Ronaldo’s time at the club is over and won’t be playing before the World Cup.
