Cristiano Ronaldo promises to set it straight in a tell-all interview

Manchester United

Legendary Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has hit out against the ‘lies’ which have surrounded his future. The 37-year-old’s future has been the source of much speculation and controversy, with the forward still determined to force a move before the end of the Transfer window.

Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs who have rejected the chance to sign the Portuguese international this window.

United are reportedly prepared to let the forward leave Old Trafford. This was primarily due to his negative presence around the squad. The forward had reportedly told the Red Devils at the start of the season that he is determined to leave in order to continue playing Champions League football in 22/23.
A recent report says that Ronaldo sits by himself during lunchtime, and has shown frustration during a number of training sessions. This has caused Erik ten Hag to change his stance regarding the forward.

What is Cristiano Ronaldo’s point-of-view?

The Portuguese took to Instagram on Tuesday evening. He did so to speak about the ‘lies’ surrounding his future and has vowed to address the situation in a tell-all interview in the near future.

He wrote:

“They know the truth when they interview in a couple weeks. The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right. Imagine how it is. Stick with that tip.”

Cristiano Ronaldo will likely hold a press conference after the transfer window ends to address the issues.

Recently, there have been reports of a possible return to his boyhood club Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese side is unlikely to win the Champions League any time soon but will be able to participate in it, after coming second in the Primeira Liga.
