Chelsea vs West Ham United: Preview and Predicted Line-up

Chelsea

Following a disappointing defeat against Arsenal, Chelsea will be facing yet another London rival on Sunday as they will go head-to-head against West Ham United in the Premier League

The Blues suffered a 4-2 defeat against the Gunners in midweek. They conceded twice in the first half but Thomas Tuchel’s side managed to get back into the game twice in the first half. However, the world champions leaked two more in the second half which was too much for Chelsea in the end to overcome.

This defeat means the west London club have now endured three consecutive defeats in all competitions at Stamford Bridge. So, Tuchel’s side will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Sunday against the Hammers.

On the other hand, West Ham managed to come away with one point against Burnley in their previous game. And this has pushed them backwards in their search for Champions League football.

The Hammers are currently sitting in seventh in the league with 52 points in 33 games. Five points behind the fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, having played one extra game.

Meanwhile, Chelsea lost in the reverse fixture when these two sides faced each other. The game ended 3-2 in favour of David Moyes’ side. So, the Blues will be looking to take revenge in this game and return to the winning ways at Stamford Bridge.
