Bayern Munich has agreed terms with Napoli for Kim jae

About Football Express UK

Bayern Munich is very close to completing the signing of SSC Napoli center back Kim Min-jae,

As they’ll be beating out a bevy of clubs across Europe to his signature.

Bayern is the club that he wants to join and the official deal being completed is not too far off at this juncture.

Reported say that Bayern will be activating the release clause in his current contract

He plays for Napoli in the who just clinched their first Scudetto after 33 years.

Bayern losing Hernandez to PSG as the World Cup winner made it very clear and didn’t accept a new contract offer.

He’ll be joining the reigning Ligue 1 for a fee of €50 million euros, but Bayern Munich will be handily replacing him with Min-jae.

Benjamin Pavard’s future is also under doubt as talks are going on between both the parties.

Advantage Min jae brings to the table is his injury free career which adds boost to his skills.

As the south Korean international only missed two matches across all competitions for Napoli this past season,

And both of those occasions were due to a yellow card suspension.

Bayern Munich over Man Utd

Man Utd was the other team in race to sign the defender but as seen he seems not interested .

The reason for Kim to choose Bayern Munich over Manchester United is said to be the terms in the contracts.

Bayern are said to have a five-year contract in place for Kim at the Allianz Arena, with those terms set to take him through to 2028.

Fabrizio Romano reports ,

That Min-Jae has reached a “total verbal agreement” with Bayern which will tie him to the Bavarian giants till 2028.

Only the release clause remains to be paid which shouldn’t be a problem since the fee is set and non-negotiable.
