Aston Villa have missed an oppourtunity to sign in ex-Manchester City player Jason Denayer as Diego Carlos replacement. The 27-year-old Jason Denayer is a is a Belgian international, who plays as a centre-back. Born in Jette, Denayer made his professional debut while on loan at Celtic. He then also played the following seasons on loan at Galatasaray-Sunderland-Galatasaray, before finnaly getting signed to Lyons. Denayer was a regular centre-back for the Lyons.

The sight of the Brazilian defender Diego Carlos limping off at Villa Park’s pitch was not good. And later out of the stadium on strecher in a protective boot, had said it all to the Villans fans all around the world. Diego Carlos signed the English side for £26 million from Spanish club Sevilla in the summer transfer window. The Brazilian will spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines then on the pitch due to his serious injuries. Diego Carlos has ruptured the Achilles tendon in his left ankle and is expected to return the Villa Park after a period of seven to nine months out.

In that case, the English manager Steven Gerrard are in search of the defender to fullfil, Diego Carlos place till his return. But, recently Villans manager has also lost his chance to sign him in as centre-back option.
