ARSENAL AND DECLAN RICE TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY
According to reports, Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Declan Rice for a move in the next summer transfer window. Hence, it is clear that he is open to a move to the Gunners. It is also clear that the Gunners are leading the race for his signature. A report also claims that the Gunners are willing to give him a big pay-rise after his potential move.
Declan Rice is currently on 60,000 pounds per week with the Hammers. However, the reports now claim that Arsenal are willing to pay him 200,000 pounds per week after signing with the club. Declan Rice will also get to play Champions League football with the Gunners. A report also claims that the midfielder is also impressed with management and coaching of Mikel Arteta.
WEST HAM UNITED ARE HOPING FOR A BIDDING WAR FOR THEIR STAR MIDFIELDER
West Ham manager David Moyes has said that they will demand British record transfer fee for the England star midfielder. Hence, they will hope that Arsenal are not the only club in the race for his signature. They are also hoping that many more top clubs enter the race. Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are also monitoring the situation.
However, to sign Declan Rice, they need to get Champions League football next season. Real Madrid also tried to enter the race for his signature. However, Declan Rice has rejected the move. This is because he wants to continue his stay in England and the Premier League. At the moment, the Hammers value him at over 100 million. Whereas, the interested clubs are hoping to sign him for 80 million.
There are also chances that Arsenal could sign him for as low as 60 million at the end of the next season. This is because the Hammers are currently in relegation zone. Hence, the Hammers will have to sell for cheap if they suffer relegation to the Championship.
