Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares reportedly has no future with the club. He is also currently on loan with Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.
However, they have also no interest in turning his loan deal into a permanent deal. The Gunners are also not happy with his behaviour on loan.
ARSENAL HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF KEEPING NUNO TAVARES
According to reports, Arsenal will try to sell Nuno Tavares in the next summer transfer window. He is currently on loan with Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille. The report also claims that defender’s relationship with Mikel Arteta has completely broken down. Mikel Arteta is also happy with his options at the left-back.
Arsenal currently have Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney as their left-back options. However, Tierney also reportedly wants to leave the club in the next summer. Although, they will only sell him for 30 million. Mikel Arteta is open to keeping him at the club. The decision about Nuno Tavares has happened because of his poor behaviour on loan in France.
THE PORTUGUESE LEFT-BACK IS NO LONGER THE STARTING LEFT-BACK ON LOAN
The Arsenal loanee started the season very well. However, as the season progressed, his relationship with Marseille manager Tudor has got worse. He is now no longer a confirmed. A report also confirmed that Marseille were ready to make a move to sign him permanently. However, his recent poor performances mean that they are likely to not make a move for him.
Arsenal are also not happy with his behaviour on loan. They thought that the left-back would improve on loan with Marseille like William Saliba. However, it looks like the chances of that happening are very less. Although, there is some sort of good news for Nuno Tavares. A number of La Liga clubs remain interested in his signature in the next summer.
However, the Arsenal defender will have to take a pay-cut to get the move. Arsenal will also definitely consider low bids for him. This is because Mikel Arteta does not like to have players that disturb the peace and harmony at the club.
