Kieran Tierney

Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney reportedly wants to secure a move away from the club in the next summer. Newcastle United and Manchester City remain the favourites for his signature.

However, the Gunners hope for more clubs to join the race for his signature. The Gunners also want a transfer fee of over 30 million for the left-back

ARSENAL HOPING TO SELL THE SCOTTISH LEFT-BACK IN THE NEXT SUMMER

Arsenal are reportedly hoping to sell Kieran Tierney in the next summer transfer window. Tierney is also hoping to seal a move away from the Gunners. A report also claims that his likely destinations at the moment are Manchester City or Newcastle United. Whereas, a fee of over 30 million is required for either of the clubs to secure his signature.

Arsenal initially wanted Tierney to stay for one more season or beyond the next summer. However, the defender wants to have regular game time this season. Tierney feels fully fit for the next season. Whereas, the Gunners at the moment cannot guarantee him regular football next season. Therefore, a move to Newcastle United or Manchester City makes sense for all the parties.

KIERAN TIERNEY SHOULD SIGN FOR NEWCASTLE UNITED FOR REGULAR GAME TIME

According to reports, both Newcastle United and Manchester City are in the race to sign the Arsenal defender. However, neither of them has made any bid to the Gunners. Manchester City would want him as a competition for Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake. Whereas, Newcastle United are likely to give him regular game time.

However, Manchester City have one big advantage over Newcastle United. Arsenal have serious interest in Joao Cancelo. Cancelo also wants to leave Manchester City. Hence, there is a chance that the Gunners will make an offer for Cancelo that includes cash and Kieran Tierney in the deal. Whereas, the Magpies will have to make an all-cash deal of high value to lure the Gunners to accept the deal.

Arsenal are also hoping to sell left-back Nuno Tavares permanently. Hence, the Gunners will likely sign a new left-back to compete with Oleksandr Zinchenko for the starting spot. Whereas, Tierney will hope that he resolves his future at the start of the transfer window.
