Alan Shearer is impressed by chelsea star Raheem Sterling after seeing his recent performance last week.

The 28 year old winger Raheem Sterling has started his this year premier league season with some super display.

Stearling scored twice and gave one assist last friday match during chelsea‘s 3-0 win against newley promted team Luton Town.

This is their first victory since Mauricio Pochettino  appointed as the head coach of chelsea.

This win has gave hope to the chelsea fans as they won a premier league match after a long time.

The win has also gave hope and motivation to players to give their best.

Now, there’s a lot of excitement around what the Blues forward can do in the season as he brought out his best form.

Shearer, who picked Sterling in his Premier League Team of the Week, loved the Chelsea forward’s latest contribution.

“He looks back to the Sterling of 3-4 years ago. A wonderful display [against Luton],” Shearer told in the post match interview

Incidentally, Shearer also named Blues right-back Malo Gusto in the weekly XI for his two assists against Luton.

Can Stearling justify is £50million transfer fee

“If you look at Sterling’s performances last season during his debut Chelsea year, he didn’t really justify the £50million transfer fee it cost to sign him from Manchester City.” said shearer

When Raheem Sterling was left out of the last England squad, the message from Gareth Southgate was that the winger was unhappy with his fitness.

He’d carried a hamstring injury and wasn’t at the level he wanted to be. Sterling preferred, instead, to focus on getting his body ready for the new season.

They never, apparently, got around to the question of whether Sterling should make the squad.

after his first season at Chelsea produced only nine goals in all competitions.

However, we’re pretty confident he can still grow into serious value for money if he bring his form.

Unfortunately, there’s no point going overboard on this Sterling revival until a couple of months further down the line.
