Tottenham Hotspurs lining up a move for Genk Striker Paul Onuachu. The North London Outfit have joined some Big names of European Football to register the signing of Paul Onuachu including Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have reportedly joined the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and West Ham United to secure a Move.
The Nigerian Forward came on the headlines after he signed for Belgian Pro league Club Genk. He appeared 68 times for the Club and converted 51 goals in all Competitions. The 27-year-old Forward signed for Genk in 2019 and has been in sublime form since then. In 2015, Onuachu was called up to the Nigerian U-23 national team and was called up to the Nigerian Main team in March 2019.
The 27-year-old Striker had a terrific start to the 2021-22 season as he found the back of the net 11 times in all competitions. The Striker reached his Career-best figures with 33 Goals last season. He also became Genk’s top Goalscorer last season, catching the eyes of Several Elite European Clubs.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham United, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Southampton have made enquiries about the Nigerian Striker. Genk will be happy to let the player move once the right bid arrives. Reports suggest that anything in the region of €20 Million would be enough for the Club to release the Player.
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspurs are in the Market to find a replacement for their Talismanic striker Harry Kane. The England Captain could still be pushing for a move away from the Lilywhites. Kane scored the most number of goals in the Premier League last season who is wanted by Manchester City. Tottenham rejected bids of €150-160 Million by the Current Premier League Champions during the summer transfer window.
West Ham United go against Genk in the Europa League on Thursday. Meanwhile, the London side is setting their Sights close to the Nigerian Striker. Several other Media outlets consider La Liga Champions Atletico Madrid as the frontrunners to sign the player.
The Nigerian International still has 3 years left on his contract with the Belgian Side. The 27-year-old Onuachu has plenty to offer, as the striker is about to enter his prime playing days. At 6ft 7in, he is a towering presence in the box. A trait many top clubs currently lack in their squad. His aerial presence is one aspect of his game, but his overall contributions, in holding up the ball apart from other traits make him a complete striker.
