Tottenham are interested in signing Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth

Tottenham are looking at a number of defensive minded options for January and they remain keen on Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly. Kelly is strongly in the running as a new Centre back for Tottenham.

Kelly has been among the names getting a mention when it comes to Spurs wild hunt for new defenders in the January transfer window. He is believed to have caught the eye of Tottenham’s recruitment team already eventhough he is injured at the moment.

Lloyd Kelly could be the perfect fit for Tottenham

Clearly, Tottenham Hotspur have a defender on the agenda. And it’s looking like a case of just who it might be now for them.

When it comes to Kelly, he’s clearly an ‘outstanding‘ talent. But given he is currently out due to injury, you’d have to wonder if he’s the smartest signing right now for a club fighting for top 4.

Tottenham need someone to come in and hit the ground running from the off if they need to have any chances of top 4. As it stands, Kelly probably isn’t that man for Tottenham at the moment.

However, he’s someone Postecoglou obviously likes. However, he might not be the most expensive name on the list as well.

Alasdair Gold went on to say:

“The Lilywhites continue to have an interest in Premier League defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and the currently injured but versatile Lloyd Kelly, of Fulham and Bournemouth respectively. Both players are out of contract next summer,”

Jean-Clair Todibo consistently gets brought up as well. And it’s been reported that talks have already been held over that potential deal for the centre back.
