Arsenal

Three Saudi Arabian clubs are said to be keen on signing Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey during the summer window. Three Saudi Arabian sides have shown an interest. This isn signing Arsenal star Thomas Partey, according to recent reports.

What does the future hold for Arsenal and Thomas Partey

CBS Sports have claimed that Saudi trio Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Khaleej are all keen on the Ghana international. Who will be into the final two years of his contract with Mikel Arteta’s side come the end of the month. The 30-year-old had enjoyed an excellent 2022/23 campaign. This is before a major drop-off in form coincided with his teammates. This is also faltering as Arsenal relinquished their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Eventually, Manchester City clinched the title, finishing five points clear of the Gunners. And Partey was dropped for the final few matches. January signing Jorginho took Partey’s place in the starting line-up. The former Atletico Madrid man received considerable criticism for his disappointing end to the season.

Gary Neville went on to say:-

A large part of the season, he has been fantastic. His form and composure have deserted him at the most vital time.”He’s been in a shadow of himself in the last few weeks, Partey.

Possible incomings at Arsenal this summer as replacement

Romeo Lavia of Southampton, the £50m man is in a position where he can actively push. That is to push for a move this summer without much resentment. And with Arsenal said to be favourites for his signature, he could well end up at the Emirates very soon.

Unfortunately, if Arsenal do pursue both Lavia and Rice, that probably spells the end of any idea of Moises Caicedo coming to north London. But if Lavia and Rice both live up to their potential. It won’t be long before Caicedo is a long-forgotten after-thought for the Gunners.

West Ham star Declan Rice and Brighton ace Moises Caicedo are top of the shopping list. The rumours say that the deal will cost up to €80 million. Rice is keen on a move to a Champions League team. He dreams of winning the Premier League and the Champions League.

Being young Rice could develop into a beast under Arteta. However, Thomas Partey has been one of the best Defensive Midfielders this season.

Interest in Rice is certainly rife right now, with Bayern Munich the latest club to be joining the hunt. How the West Ham United faithful would love to see the England international move on abroad rather than any of their capital rivals.
