Nagelsmann might be the new Chelsea boss. Enrique also in talks

Chelsea have stepped up their search for a new permanent manager. After they reportedly invited Julian Nagelsmann to ‘present his ideas’ to club chiefs this week.

German coach Nagelsmann is recently released from his position at Bayern Munich head coach

And Thomas tuchel is the new head coach of Bayern Munich.

His availibility in the market has raised attention from a number of top clubs ,

Acoss Europe, including Todd Boehly’s Chelsea who are searching for a new manager.

The Blues parted ways with Graham Potter at the start of the month,

Before appointing Frank Lampard as caretaker boss, as their search for a permanent solution goes on.

However, Boehly has clearly set the wheels in motion in regard to appointing a new head coach,

After he invited two managers to speak with club chiefs.

The Chelsea board already have a relationship with his agent, as they did the Werner deal together and also works for Nagelsmann.

As he also represents Timo Werner,

He is currently playing for RB Leipzig

Sporting director Laurence Stewart and technical director Christopher Vivell also worked with Nagelsmann at Leipzig.

Nagelsmann made his name by getting Leipzig into the Champions League and by 2021 ,

He was hired by Bayern.But off-field issues are understood to have started his downfall in Munich,

With ex-Chelsea manager Tuchel replacing him.

Chelsea have already held talks with former Spain and Barcelona boss, Luis Enrique.

Enrique impressed, though not enough to see Chelsea hand him the role before exploring other options first.

According to report Nagelsmann and Enrique are believed to be ‘frontrunners’,

Though Amorim has been identified as a viable candidate and talks are in place.

The report adds Amorim might need some convincing to leave Sporting

Forr Chelsea given their track record with hiring and firing.
