Mendy to move out of Madrid to join the English side

Arsenal are in search of reinforcements for their left back, and one of their top candidates is Real Madrid’s Ferland Mendy, who is already on the transferable list.

The Gunners have set a budget of no more than 20 million euros for the acquisition.

Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid, has made it clear that Mendy will not be part of his plans for the upcoming season.

He has only managed to feature in 25 games throughout the campaign, while Camavinga has taken over as the preferred option.

Despite having a contract until 2025, Ancelotti has already informed Mendy that he will not be part of the team for the next season.

Initially, Real Madrid had hoped to sell Mendy for a price close to the 40-50 million euros they paid for his services.

The current asking price for Mendy is reportedly around 20 million euros.

According to reports, Arsenal have shown interest in Mendy following the reduced price tag. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta sees Mendy as a viable option to strengthen their left flank.
