After starting his career with French club Arles, Bennacer went to Premier League side Arsenal in July 2015. On January 2017, it was official that Bennacer would join Ligue 2 side Tours on loan. Furthermore, On August 2017, Bennacer joined Italian club Empoli, and then On August 2019 to AC Milan for €16 million.
