Liverpool

Liverpool is on the verge of securing Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo, as confirmed by manager Sebastian Hoeness, who mentioned that Endo was absent from training today.

Wataru Endo granted permission to fulfill his aspiration of joining Liverpool. Since Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeness officially acknowledges his departure. Late on Wednesday night, rumors concerning Endo’s potential transfer to Anfield left the club’s fans astonished.

Fabrizio Romano broke the news last night. Reporting that Liverpool had officially put forward a formal offer for the permanent transfer of Endo.

Following this, The Athletic’s David Ornstein contributed by stating that Liverpool was nearing the finalization of the Endo deal. Ornstein revealed that Endo got permission to proceed with a medical examination. He further mentioned that the medical assessment has a schedule for later today, and a €19 million (£16.2 million) agreement has been established.

Liverpool in need of urgent midfield reinforcement

It’s widely recognized that Liverpool is in need of at least one, if not two, holding midfielders. Especially given the recent disappointments of failing to secure Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

Certainly, Endo’s emergence as the suitable candidate is quite beyond expectations. Catching both Jurgen Klopp and Jorg Schmadtke off guard and coming as a genuine surprise.

Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeness meanwhile confirmed that Endo got permission to depart and proceed with his medical assessment for Liverpool.

Hoeness also elaborated that Endo has held significant importance, not only as a player but also as a personality within the team. However, despite his value, the allure of joining Liverpool at this point in his career was too compelling to resist. Hoeness emphasized Endo’s aspiration to compete in the Premier League, a dream he couldn’t turn down.
