Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the history of Liverpool. The Egyptian legend has been a consistent performer for the Reds. He always steps up for the team when needed. The 31 year old forward has helped Liverpool win the champions league trophy and the premier league title as well. Salah as won every possible award at the Anfield. Moreover, he formed one of the most feared forward lines in the world alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. However, everything that starts has an ending point. Same is the case with Salah as the Egyptian is nearing his final times at Liverpool. The club would find it next to impossible to replace him. Even a player with half of Salah’s abilities would be a blessing for them. As per the reports, Liverpool have found a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah once he leaves the club.
According to tbrfootball, Liverpool are targeting PSV Eindhoven forward Johan Bakayoko. Even Tottenham Hotspurs and Brentford are also targeting him. The 20 year old Belgian forward is making everyone notice him with his performances. Moreover, his popularity has increased in the past 12 months. That’s quite understandable as premier league giants like Liverpool and Tottenham are behind him.
Liverpool have found a young forward who is faster than Luis Diaz.
Johan Bakayoko has a top speed of 33.3 km/h. That’s faster than Liverpool winger Luis Diaz. Moreover, the Belgian is also good on the ball. But there’s a catch. Mohamed Salah has close to 200 goals for Liverpool while Bakayoko has only 8 goals in his senior career. He needs to be good infront of the goal of he has to reach even a half of Salah’s potential. However, we shouldn’t ignore the fact that the player is just 20 years old. He’s got a lot of room for improvement. Furthermore, if he plays under Jurgen Klopp, there’s a high probability that’ll he will be a better player than what he currently is as the German coach is famous for identifying young talents and nurturing them into world class players.
