Liverpool has set their eyes on Ryan Gravenberch according to Romano

Liverpool

Liverpool continues to maintain their interest in securing the services of Bayern Munich’s midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. That is as a result of Jorg Schmadtke’s evident admiration for him. The aspiration to bring Ryan Gravenberch to Liverpool persists. Although the task of persuading Bayern Munich to part ways with him will surely pose considerable challenges.

When questioned about the prospect of acquiring Gravenberch, who has frequently been associated with Liverpool in the recent months, Romano acknowledged the strong attraction the club holds towards him. He emphasized that the admiration for Gravenberch isn’t solely steered by Jurgen Klopp. Thus, signifying a broader consensus within Liverpool regarding their interest in the player.

Nonetheless, Gravenberch has not expressed a desire to depart from Bayern. The stance of the club remains resolute in retaining the services of the midfielder.

Throughout the summer, Bayern has steadfastly upheld this standpoint, and unless Gravenberch significantly advocates for a transfer, the prospect of a move to Liverpool appears to be improbable.

Will Liverpool pursue Gravenberch?

Liverpool’s intrigue in Gravenberch has justification. The 21-year-old, described as “very dominant” by his former coach Brian Tevreden, possesses remarkable talent as a box-to-box midfielder and stands at an impressive height of 6 feet 3 inches, which further adds to his appeal.

Gravenberch’s physical stature might lead some to consider him for a defensive midfield role. But harnessing his box-to-box skills in that position would squander his true potential.

Schmadtke and Klopp seem to share a consensus regarding Gravenberch’s talents. However, pursuing his acquisition at this point would come as unexpected. Especially following the signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.
