Liverpool, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Manchester City are all gunning for the Premier League title this season.
The Reds, The Gunners and the Villa are leading the way at the moment, but you would have to be a fool to write off Pep Guardiola’s side at any point.
Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta will undoubtedly have dreams of bringing the trophy back to Anfield and the Emirates respectively, but, at this moment in time, it’s so tough to call this title race.
Indeed, this race is so tough to predict, but speaking on Amazon Prime Sport, Les Ferdinand has gone out on a whim and made a prediction.
As a Tottenham and Newcastle legend, Ferdinand doesn’t necessarily have a horse in this race, but he believes Liverpool will be the side to come out on top.
Ferdinand thinks Liverpool can win the Premier league
The pundit gave his verdict on who will win the title.
“The top three or four teams in the Premier League at the moment. The team I like at the moment is Liverpool. Nobody is talking too much about them.
Everyone was saying about next year and building a team for it, but they are coming up on the rails, getting result after result, scoring goals, winning games.
They are where they want to be but nobody is talking about them at the moment and I think they will like that,’ Ferdinand said.
As Ferdinand says, nobody is really talking about Liverpool at the moment, but they have been quietly brilliant this season.
If it weren’t for Luis Diaz’s disallowed goal against Tottenham, the Reds would be unbeaten this term,
And while they haven’t been convincing in every single game, they’re getting results.
The Reds are going along brilliantly, and if they can keep this momentum up, they could well end up on top of the pile come the end of the season.
