The two were expected in mid-November but appeared fit in training sessions. James Justin has not played since February after suffering a serious injury.
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is aware of the risk of playing them so early. According to Leicestershire Live, the duo have rejoined their team in training sessions as they prepare for Brighton.
Wilfred Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury but surprisingly appears fit in training and is ahead of schedule.
Is Leicester striker Jamie Vardy in a category of elite players?
The stories of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are very inspiring. It is not only their amazing stories but also the story of Jamie Vardy.
Jamie Vardy is the living example of ” It’s never too late.” He was working in a factory until the age of 29, Leicester bought him from Stocksbridge.
In his first season, he had a poor start but in the second season itself, he scored 16 goals. This helped the Foxes qualify for the Premier League.
In the 2015-16 season, the football world was taken aback by surprise. Leicester pulled off the seemingly impossible and won the league.
He also thrives against the “Big 6”. He has a G/A of 52 in 76 games. The England international has also scored a hat-trick against Manchester City.
Vardy has amassed 159 G/A in 253 appearances. In the 2020/21 season, he became the oldest player since Didier Drogba to win the PL golden boot. Vardy ended his 2020/21 season on a high note after scoring 23 goals.
In the 2015-16 season, he broke Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s record by scoring in 11 consecutive matches. Altogether it is clear that Jamie Vardy is not only a Leicester legend but also a premier league legend.
