Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar has three games to retain his job.

About Football Express UK

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been given one last chance. The board, Sir Alex Ferguson and the owners have faith in him.

United face Spurs, Atalanta and Manchester City in their next games. It is not only the faulty tactics of the manager but also the lack of good performances by the players.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ole Gunnar was present at the training session and will be in charge of Spurs.

Will Ole Gunnar Solskjaer retain his job?

The Mirror states that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only has three games to prove himself.

Let’s consider the slightest possibility that United will survive in these three matches. Cristiano Ronaldo already saved United twice after scoring two last-minute goals.

The recent one came against Atalanta BC in which the entire team including Ronaldo was playing badly.

It seems as if there are no tactics but rather just relying on the individual abilities of the players.

This implies how the team is performing under Ole Gunnar. They have reached a point where they cannot progress anymore.

If Manchester United do end up winning somehow in their next three matches, it implies bad news for them. They will continue to be stagnant and will not fulfil their potential under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian has done a good job. He has brought out qualities in some of the team players but not any further progress.

Manchester United will then fail to contend for any major trophy or any trophy at all. Even if they present a good performance against Spurs, they need to do it again against Atalanta and City.

Even Cristiano Ronaldo cannot keep on winning games for them. The entire team will have to perform consistently with or without Ole Gunnar Solskjaer because consistency is essential.

The fate of Ole Gunnar now lies in the hands of his players as his tactics and player choices are drab.
