The Merseyside club Liverpool and its manager Jürgen Klopp is struggling hard with team injuries. A tremendous heart-breaking result for all the Liverpool fans all around the world. The Red under the management of the German manager Jürgen Klopp lost the Premier League title with just one point. Big names like Henderson, Konate, Jones, Carvalho, Kelleher, Ramsay, Keita as well as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were out due to injury.

Jordan Henderson – The missing Leader.

The 21-years-old is an English midfielder known for his presence and mentality in the game. Often we have seen, him impacting the flow of the game after his substitution. The youngster was absent from the squad due to his tibia injury. Klopp did not mention anything about his return but said:

“Curtis, when he was out previously, had a stress reaction in a specific bone around the tibia. It was absolutely fine, no problem anymore. Trained twice, felt it again. It’s not as bad as the first time, but it’s bad enough to not be involved in team training again, which is not very helpful.”

Fabio Carvalho – Portuguese Little-man.

The 20-years-old is a Portuguese winger or attacking midfielder known for his quick thinking, passing as well as skills on the field. The summer signing is suffering from a knee injury. A possible date to return is by 14th September. Klopp said:

“Fabio got a massive dead leg, which caused the muscle some problems, so it was no chance. He’s walking now normal, but there was no chance to train until now. We hope now every day will get better and he will be ready for the weekend, but I’m not 100% sure.”

Caoimhin Kelleher – Young Anfield Gloves.

The 23-years-old is an Irish goalkeeper and is a product of Liverpool youth academy. The youngster is out due to his recurrence of an issue that took place in the Republic of Ireland in August. He is still to make his appearance to the bench. Klopp said:

“Caoimh I saw now only walking outside going for normal goalkeeper training.”

Calvin Ramsay – Young Blood

The 19-years-old is a Scottish right-back and a product of Aberdeen youth academy. The newly Summer signing is yet to make his appearance on the field, due to his back problem. Klopp said:

“Calvin is still out but really getting closer and closer. For him, it was something with his back, something to do with age and growing and these kind of things. He didn’t train now properly with us, but he gets closer.”

Naby Keita – The Guardian

The 27-years-old is a Guinean central midfielder known for his range, accuracy with good defensive qualities. He is energetic, quick, skillful, and creative as well can dribble, pass and shoot the ball frequently. Keita is out due to a muscle injury and is yet to make his return to Anfield. Klopp said:

“It’s a muscle injury, he will get back soon.”

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – The OX 

The 29-years-old is an English midfielder known for his excellence in controlling the midfield. Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the sideline due to his serious hamstring problem. No further returning good news by the German manager. Furthermore, Klopp said;

“It’s a muscle injury, Ox is a muscle injury, and they will be out for a while.”
