Journalist thinks Ex Manchester City player is ‘the reverse of Mudryk’

Chelsea

In an interview with GIVEMESPORT, journalist Dean Jones suggested an intriguing comparison between Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk.

He thinks both young stars are like coin. As a coin have two sides now Chelsea have two players of opposite prospects.

During the summer transfer window, Cole Palmer was acquired by Chelsea from Manchester City. Although in London, He’s already had an immediate influence.

At the Etihad Stadium, Palmer found it difficult to establish a consistent spot in Pep Guardiola’s lineup.

But since moving to Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino has showed a great deal of trust in Palmer. Now Palmer has a key role in blues.

Dean Jones on Cole Palmer and his role in the club

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Jones said:

“Cole Palmer does seem to be the opposite of Mudryk. With Mudryk, we hear him talking a good game away from the pitch, but when he gets on it, he’s often not able to back it up.”

“But I think it’s the opposite with Cole Palmer. He’s a man of few words it seems away from the pitch. When he’s on the pitch, he’s got this swagger about him, a bit of an ego, and I think that he just lets his feet do the talking. He walks around with a bit of arrogance.”

“He takes the ball on in big moments. The fact that he’s the penalty taker at this stage goes to show how much he fancies himself.”

Mudryk is just one of many Chelsea players who have joined the team in recent years. So far he hasn’t been able to immediately contribute and will definitely require more time to adjust.

Though he hasn’t produced much in front of goal, the Ukraine international has shown flashes of his potential. Palmer, meanwhile, is now among the first names on the squad sheet at Stamford Bridge after easily adjusting to Pochettino’s style of play.
