£30 million Chelsea player sustains yet another setback

Chelsea

Trevoh Chalobah will reportedly be sidelined until at least the end of January due to his injury.

Although it’s another terrific breaking, as Chelsea’s injury situation has not been good at all. The team has been beset by injuries.

According to Sky Sports,

“Chalobah has suffered another setback and is expected to be out until early January, meaning he will have spent almost six months on the sidelines.”

Then what about selling Trevoh Chalobah?; Ben Jacobs Update

Spurs had initially kept an eye on the defender. Though he hasn’t played in the Premier League since the Blues’ season-ending stalemate with Newcastle United.

But Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich who were egder to sign him now have also withdrawn from the competition for his signature.

Although the club currently hold a strong position and they are not under aby pressure to sell Chalobah.

On the other hand, Ben Jacobs shares his thoughts while talking to GIVEMESPORT:

“I still think that Chelsea would like to sell Chalobah in January if they can. Just because you’re injured in a window doesn’t mean that you can’t go in a window. Tyler Adams going to Bournemouth from Leeds United in the summer is one example of that.”

“There are teams, mid-season, looking for centre-backs. Bayern still could be one to watch. They were very keen on Chalobah towards the back end of the summer, but they wanted a loan deal and it just couldn’t be forced through.”

“It was unfortunate on deadline day because the German window closed earlier than the UK one, so there was a mad scramble until 5pm UK time. Even though Chalobah wanted the move, no agreement was reached.

“Bayern want a centre-back. We’ve seen the links as well with Manchester United’s Raphael Varane, so that might be something to watch.”
