Yesterday night Gabriel Jesus showed his masterclass against spanish side Seville where confirmed victory 1-2.

The Brazilian scored a goal even had a assist. Boys of Mikel Arteta was looking so confident at Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Arena.

Now it’s like 26-year-old Brazilian is getting back form. As main striker is deploying back to back match winners, Gunners will be tension free for very next.

Though Gabriel Jesus hugged a old controversy while answering about his national team.

What happened to Gabriel Jesus ?

After the match, Gabriel Jesus was asked about his position at Brazil national football team. Since he’s having an impressive start to the season with the Gunners. But unfortunately he got backlash.

On TNT Sports, correspondent Fred Caldeira gave his opinion on Jesus’ recent form, claiming the Arsenal star deserves more respect.

“Gabriel, as a figure, as this divisor of opinions, I think that the hate on him is absolutely disproportionate,”

“Even more so than those who follow European football. If I go there, stumble on the corner, the guy who only watches the World Cup, he doesn’t like Gabriel Jesus in the national team, ok, no problem.”

“Now, who follows European football? Gabriel has more goals in the Champions League than Adriano Imperador. Gabriel is the second Brazilian with more goals in the history of the Premier League, behind only Roberto Firmino.”

Fred Caldeira added:

“He would be a starter in most of the main European football clubs. Take Manchester City, Barcelona. Liverpool I think he would be. You will count on your fingers the European football teams that Gabriel would not be or would not fight to be a starter.”

In 2018 or 2022 both times Jesus had a horrible world cup run. Both times he failed to net. Only fewer minutes in some games.

Although Jesus scored only 4 goals and ones assist in 11 appearances so far in this season. It will be tough for him to make himself ready for national call up.

Perhaps he need to wait for a long more time to be in the ground for Brazil.
