Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are looking to sign a permanent replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who left Old Trafford in mid-season.
However, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola’s past comments about Harry kane should serve as a warning to United.
City desperately tried to secure Harry Kane signature in 2021 but couldn’t get a deal over the line.
They ultimately failed to convince Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to sell their most prized asset.
United now face the difficult task of getting the better of Levy who has a reputation of being one of football’s toughest negotiators.

Harry Kane has just over a year remaining on his current contract.
With Tottenham nowhere near competing for major trophies, He will probably be unwilling to extend hi the strikers stay at the club.
Levy will either have to sell Kane or see him leave for nothing in 2024.
On that basis, the Spurs chairman may well accept the lucrative offer from United rather than allow Kane to leave as a free agent.
