Giovanni Lo Celso could be leaving Tottenham soon

Sources expects Giovani Lo Celso to leave Tottenham Hotspur. This comes after Ange Postecoglou fought to keep him over the summer.

Giovani Lo Celso has struggled for minutes at Spurs so far this campaign. This is after such a promising pre-season under their new manager Ange Postecoglou.

The 27-year-old has been limited to three substitute appearances in the Premier League. This comes after picking up an injury in the League Cup clash at Fulham early this season.

Lo Celso wants a new adventure away from Tottenham

Taylor a journalist believes Lo Celso will end up leaving Tottenham in search of regular game time:

In terms of Lo Celso, Postecoglou was actually a key driving force behind him staying at the club this summer,” he said. “But it just hasn’t worked out for him because Bissouma and Sarr have been so good.

Obviously Maddison is probably the player that Lo Celso would take the position of if he was to get into the starting XI.

“He’s sort of halfway between an eight and a 10 really. I expect Lo Celso to probably leave now, I really do.

“I think he needs to play regular football and obviously he’s struggled to stay fit. Look I just don’t think it’s going to work out at Spurs, unfortunately, which is a shame as he was a top player when they brought him to the club.”

Spurs lacked creativity in midfield on Saturday. This comes as Big Ange Postecoglou opted for a trio of Yves Bissouma, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Pape Matar Sarr.

Lo Celso seems like the natural replacement for Maddison. And he will get a chance to impress over the coming weeks the fans and the coaching staff.
