FPL 2021-22: GW 7 Analysis

About Football Express UK

The deadline for GW 7 is on October 2nd 11 am UK time and 3:30 pm Indian time. Make sure you lock in the team before the start of the GW.

The most popular choices for Captaincy is between Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo. FPL managers are leaning more toward Lukaku as Chelsea face Southampton for the upcoming GW, While on the other hand, Manchester United will be facing Everton. Everton is more likely to concede a goal compared to Southampton.

Everton look like a very improved side under Rafa Benitez and are doing pretty well. Southampton on the other hand who have been pretty decent defensively holding Manchester City to a 0-0 draw in GW 4.

Chelsea also have struggled to create chances in the past two games against Juventus and Manchester City. Chelsea will hoping to turn things around and will be desperate to avoid third consecutive defeat in a row.

There are other potential captaincy choices apart from the two premium strikers Lukaku and Ronaldo. Harry Kane, Son, Jamie Vardy, Antonio and Sarr. With Kane being a top choice as he got a wonderful hat-trick against Mura in Conference League looked lethal. This could be the potential kickstart he needed to get going and get back to the form he was in last season.

The players from both Liverpool and Manchester City will be avoided as they both are going to face each other and it will be an unpredictable game.

Team Locked In For GW 7

Subs: Gunn, Gilmour, A.Armstrong, Trent Alexander Arnold

Going for the captaincy with Antonio as he has been constantly providing attacking returns and is always involved. Lukaku also looks a very good captaincy choice for the upcoming GW against Southampton.

Harry Kane looks a really good differential captaincy choice. In case you don’t want to go with Kane as captain transferring him in will be a great move as he has a really good run of fixtures.
