The drawing for 2023–2024 El clasico is complete, supporters are making arrangements to attend games next season since the LaLiga Santander. The schedule has already revealed some important dates.

The draw features an asymmetrical calendar, as has become standard in previous seasons. As a result, it is no longer required for the first round matches to follow the second round matches, as it has been for many years.

Beginning on Friday, August 11, 2023, and running through Sunday, May 26, 2024, is LaLiga Santander. This year, unlike the previous two, there will be no games on December 31. Additionally, the Christmas break will take place from December 22 to January 1.

Real Madrid will take on Athletic Club at San Mames in their championship opener. The long weekend of August 12–13 will be the date of the event. A championship game that will put Carlo Ancelotti’s new Real Madrid to the test before they go on their preseason tour of the United States on July 18.

Key dates, the Clasico, and the El clasico


At the Estadio Olimpico in Montjuic, the first Clasico of the season will take place on matchday 11 (29 October 2023) versus Barcelona. The second leg will be played at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on matchday 32, which falls over the weekend of April 21, 2024.

The first Derby versus Atletico Madrid, on the other hand. It will take place at the Civitas Metropolitano on matchday 6, on September 24, 2023, while the second will take place on matchday 23, on the weekend of February 4–6, 2024.

Additionally, football lovers will want to mark their calendars for the final gameday of 2023–24. The season will come to an end with three high-stakes matches: Sevilla vs. Barcelona, Real Madrid vs. Real Betis, and Real Sociedad vs. Atletico Madrid. These matches could decide the outcome of a league tournament.
