They have won the Football League First Division seven times, the FA Cup seven times and the League Cup five times. As well as they are one of the five English clubs that have won the European Cup. The 24-years-old Brazilian who plays as a defensive midfielder for Premier League club Aston Villa. Moreover, he is an Olympic Champion, winning gold at the 2020 Summer Olympics Men’s Football Final. The Brazilian began his youth career from the Vasco da Gama club. Then, on July 2016, he was promoted to Vasco da Gama’s first team. Following, Douglas Luiz made a move to the English giants Manchester City in 2017, signing a five-year contract. Also, he was loaned to La Liga side Girona FC for his first season with the City. Furthermore, on July 2019 Douglas Luiz signed for the Aston Villa side. Luiz is an all-round player for the Aston Villa side. Goals are not much of his concern, following his position of play in the squad. But Douglas Luiz had been a strong shoulder for the managers as well as the Villans fan all around the world.
