Christian Eriksen’s agent hits out at Brentford fans

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen’s agent has gone all out on Brentford fans over boos following the 4-0 defeat last weekend.

Eriksen switched from Brentford to the Theatre of Dreams this summer after his impressive performance last season with the former. Moreover, the move to United was considered as one of the wisest made by the club in recent times.

The 30-year-old was offered a contract renewal placed by Brentford, however, the midfielder decided to work under Erik ten Hag. Now, after Brentford smashed United 4-0 last weekend, fans of the Bees booed the former player of the club.

Eriksen’s agent hits back at Brentford fans

Christian Eriksen joined Brentford last season and made an impressive comeback on the pitch which really helped the club. Moreover, the Danish midfielder proved to be an integral member of the squad in the previous Premier League season.

Also, during his stint with Brentford, Eriksen was deeply admired by the club and the fans for his vital performances. Moreover, fans hoped that the former Bees ace would end up staying with the club and renew his contract.

However, the player decided make a switch to United and has now appeared for two matches under ten Hag. Eriksen’s agent, Martin Schoots was not happy with the way Brentford fans treated the player during the match last weekend.

Schoots hit out at the fans in an interview as quoted by Daily Mail. He said-

“I don’t think the reaction was the height of sportsmanship.

“The club did the right thing to react in this way, especially after the difference Christian made last season.”

United are now set to cross swords with Liverpool on Monday night and will hope to win their first three points. Whereas, Brentford will lock horns with Fulham in a London derby and will hope to continue their momentum.
