According to rumours, Chelsea is planning to make a bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer.
The Serbia international moved from Fiorentina to Juventus in January 2022 for €80 million, with sources claiming Arsenal were also interested at the time as well.

Juventus, which has won nine of the last 12 Scudettos. They finished fourth in his first season at the club in 2021/22. However they will not play in the Champions League next season after finishing seventh this season. Things haven’t gone exactly as planned for Vlahovic. His own individual form has been underwhelming. As things stand, the Serbian scored 23 goals in 63 appearances in his 18 months with the club.
Manchester United and Newcastle United have shown interest for the former Fiorentina striker. However Fabrizio Romano recently denied the latter’s interest.
Romano wrote in his Caught Offside column: “Despite working hard on the Italian market in recent times, one player Newcastle United are not currently looking at is Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. I don’t know if Eddie Howe appreciates the Serbian or not. But as of right now, there is nothing concrete to these links.”
“All of Newcastle’s focus is on their deal to sign Sandro Tonali from AC Milan. The midfielder will be officially unveiled as a new Magpie in the coming days.”
Chelsea ready to offer a huge bid for the Serbian striker
According to the Spanish daily Fichajes, Juventus is seeking to ‘make revenue’ from the transfer of Vlahovic this summer, while Chelsea is planning a ‘great frenzy of the market’. Chelsea have ‘shown the most interest’ in Vlahovic. The Juventus striker is ‘loved a lot in the Stamford Bridge offices’. Chelsea could be ready to offer roughly €80-90 million for his services. Hence ‘the Premier League seems to be the final destination’ for Vlahovic, with the Blues having ‘the economic potential to build an elite squad’.
Real Madrid has shown interest in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic on loan for €15-20 million with an option to buy. Vlahovic is still only 23 years old and has only played 42 competitive games this season. He has been obviously annoyed with Max Allegri’s coaching techniques and the insufficient number of scoring opportunities he obtains at Juventus.
Mauricio Pochettino, the Chelsea’s new manager, has expressly looked for the arrival of a prolific goalscorer. Thus Vlahovic appears to fit into that category. As a result, the Blues might give a lucrative offer to land one of Pochettino’s top targets this summer.
