Chelsea midfielders Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are a bit frustrated. Both the new signings are trying their best to help the blues but aren’t able to do so. Moreover, Chelsea are having a below average season. The blues are currently at the 12th place. They’re closer to the relegation zone than the top 4 spot. They have just lost to Manchester United and Everton in back to back league matches. Both Enzo and Caicedo arrived at Chelsea to turnaround their past season’s situation. However, it seems that they are having a hard time doing so. Chelsea have won just 6 of their last 17 premier league games.
As per expressuk, Aston Villa legend Gabby Agbonlahor has put forward his views on the two South American players. He believes that they’re inconsistent for the squad.
“Chelsea have spent more than £200 million on both Enzo and Caicedo. They are top-notch players. They can turnaround the game at any given moment. Moreover, they do work hard for their club. They win the ball back and pass it to players like Cole Palmer or Mykhailo Mudryk. However, the later 2 players aren’t able to finish the attack. Because of this, both of the South American players look frustrated with their teammates.” – Gabby Agbonlahor said.
Chelsea midfielders need some time to settle themselves.
Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are players of high calibre. That’s the reason why they were brought to Chelsea. While Caicedo has a wonderful last season with Brighton, Enzo Fernandez was the rising star for Argentina in last year’s world cup. Both of them have performed their level best last year and showed the world what they can do. However, they’re struggling to find their form at Chelsea because they’re new here. They just need time to settle down. Moreover, we can’t fully blame them. The team has to put in collective efforts to produce the results. Let’s hope Chelsea get back to the winning track in the upcoming matches.
