Chelsea are reportedly closing in on a transfer deal for highly-rated Senegalese wonderkid midfielder Pape Daouda Diong, according to a post on X from Fabrizio Romano.

Diong close to sign Chelsea deal
After it looked like they were going to be heading out to Newcastle United,

He was joined in the director’s box by Diong, who is currently playing for AF Darou Salam in Senegal.
Romano has claimed that he is now also close to joining Paez as a Chelsea player for the future.

The defensive midfielder recently starred in the U-17 World Cup,
