Because of this, the club are in contact with thier target players and clubs from now itself. Furthermore, the blues are also monitoring each and every player and his situation whom they want to sign. According to standard, Chelsea have contacted Sporting Lisbon for a double player deal in January. The deal involves the 2 players from Sporting who’ll be arriving at the Stamford Bridge if things go as per the plans. The 2 players are the defender Ousmane Diomande and the striker Viktor Gyokeres. Chelsea want to strengthen their defensive unit in January as Thiago Silva is likely to leave at the end of the season. The 20 year old defender is one of the prime targets of Chelsea in January. Moreover, he’s a major part of Sporting’s top spot pursuit this season. On the other hand, Chelsea are also monitoring Viktor Gyokeres and his situation as they want the Swedish striker to be an alternative option in case Victor Osimhen’s deal is not finalized.

Chelsea are in contact with Sporting to make the deal possible as soon as possible, avoiding any competition.

Chelsea want to sign these 2 players in the January transfer window at an affordable price. Moreover, they want to make sure that they make this deal happen as soon as possible to avoid any further intrests in these players from other clubs because that’ll increase their price. However, Sporting Lisbon’ are reluctant to let go of these 2 players so easily. They are reportedly demanding £69 million for Diomande and £87 million for Gyokeres. Now if we take both of these prices into consideration, the blues can easily push for Victor Osimhen if they have that much capital available with them. And they can target any other defender from now so that they can sign him for an affordable price. Investing more than £150 million at this point of time in not so much established players seems a bit risky.
