Arsenal’s Ben White subbed off against Leeds United due to Illness. Arsenal had to suffer a major blow during their Carabao Cup tie against Leeds United as Ben White hobbled off the Pitch in the Second Half. Ben White’s absence did not put an adverse effect on the team as Arsenal defeated Leeds by 2-0.
The Former Brighton and Hove Albion Centre Back had spent a season at Leeds United on loan for the 2019-20 season. He made his first Carabao Cup appearance this season. Ben White rested for Arsenal’s previous Cup Victories over West Bromwich Albion and AFC Wimbledon.
The Former Leeds United Loanee had to come off the pitch within just 10 minutes into the Second Half. Ben White had to receive medical attention on the touchline, as he was replaced by Callum Chambers. Arsenal Head Coach Mikel Arteta later confirmed that the Defender was suffering from Illness.

Ben White’s substitution brought Callum Chambers on to the pitch. Chambers proved to be a Super-sub against Leeds as he broke the Deadlock in the 55th Minute. Mikel Arteta insisted that White’s situation is not that Dicey and it was just a matter of Minor Illness.
Arsenal Forward Eddie Nketiah doubled the Home team’s lead in the 69th minute after a Creative Mix-up by the Arsenal Midfield. The Gunners picked up an important victory at the Emirates Stadium before they travel to Leicester this weekend. Mikel Arteta’s side will take on 9th placed Leicester City in the Premier League this Saturday as Callum Chambers could start in Place of Ben White.
“With Ben and with some others, we lost Pablo as well today, he was going to start and he couldn’t start because he had a bug. I think something happened around here, he wasn’t feeling great in the second half and we decided to take him off. Hopefully in the next few days they can feel better and be available for Leicester.
