Ousmane Dembele is having the best start this season for Barcelona. Dembele is involved in eight goals so far this season. The French international has been a regular player for Xavi.
However, the Blaugrana want to be clear with Dembele’s future at the club. After the end of this season, Dembele will be in his last twelve months with the club. The winger signed a two-year contract with the club on June 30 which will keep him at the club until 2024.
Barcelona are worried that the winger will leave by not accepting the demands of Dembele. Barcelona are still having a financial crisis and won’t be offering a pay rise in the future.
The club has already found a replacement for the French international.
According to Mundo Deportivo , the club has identified Villarreal winger Nicolas Jackson as a possible replacement. Nicolas Jackson has been involved in five goals so far this season.
The Senegalese international is in the final year of his contract. Barcelona can sign him for free at the end of the season. The 21-year-old winger is an attacking midfielder for Villarreal but can play in any frontline position.
